Somewhere over the rainbow
I took at 21-mile ride to Watertown Square and Fresh Pond earlier today — sunny and warm when I started out, but then I got caught in the rain. At least this was worth it. Along the Belmont Community Path.
Apples and bees
You can’t tell from these pictures, but Cider Hill Farm in Amesbury was deluged with hundreds if not thousands of people on Saturday. We ended up high-tailing it out of there after we were swarmed by bees (not the bees below — at least I don’t think so) while we were trying to eat our apple-cider donuts.
Charles River ride
Looking south from the Eliot Bridge. Nineteen-plus miles along the Minuteman, Alewife and Charles River bike paths to Watertown Square and back. It was a beautiful day for a ride.
Denver Day 2
Great day of reporting in Denver followed by food on the mall.
Mile high

Feeling like fall
Biked 23-plus miles along the Minuteman Bikeway, end to end, and back via the Alewife Brook Greenway. Check out the fall colors at Great Meadows. Soon it will be snowing!
