    I hope that all the gay marriage fanatics who railed against Rick Warren, were able to heed Obama’s call to drop their petty grievances, and actually listen to his appropriate, decorous invocation without spite. Perhaps they even found his message uplifting?

    Itchy: Warren gave a perfectly fine invocation, but I don’t think anyone believed he’d do otherwise. Symbolically, though, he should have been given a less prominent role. And certainly Gene Robinson shouldn’t have been cut out of the televised portion of Sunday’s program.
