The painting really does look like a female Islamist.
It just shows how little has changed in almost 11 years. If anything, expect a ratcheting up of this kind of bile as we approach the anniversary of 9/11. It’s a beautiful painting, by the way. Let’s hope it doesn’t get defaced.
