I wonder if they cover grocers’ apostrophes also?
Actually, I was thinking of starting a Blog of Unnecessary Apostrophe’s.Dave Barry once described the use of the apostrophe this way: it’s to warn the reader that an “s” is coming.
Yeah, it’s pretty amazing the words and phrases I see “in quotes.” Another thing I started to collect once were overused phrases, like “it’s not your father’s …” or “we watched, read, ate, listened to it, so you don’t have to.” Btw, I tagged you in my blog.
