Do you know what the Capital Times labor situation is? Yeah, buggy-whip technicions, I know, but I have a 50-something friend on layout/printing at the Providence Journal. What should I tell *him*? “Take the buy-out”?

Consider this post from Techcrunch earlier today:http://www.techcrunch.com/2008/02/13/half-of-all-clicks-on-display-ads-are-worthless/It's one more bit of information that makes me doubt that online advertising will ever be the sole source of funding for a legitimate news organization.
