Palin’s anti-science, anti-gay agenda

According to information dug up by Boston Globe religion reporter Michael Paulson, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin not only supports the teaching of creationism in public schools, but opposes state health benefits for same-sex partners — even to the point of supporting a constitutional amendment.

I know John McCain has said some disturbingly supportive things about teaching “intelligent design,” but no one thinks he actually believed what he was espousing. Palin, on the other hand, sounds like a true believer. Off the top of my head, it also strikes me that Palin’s anti-gay agenda is considerably to the right of McCain’s.

Not good.

Everywhere voters have had the opportunity reject gay “marriage,” they’ve done so.Not even Obama or Hillary favor it.So why then is it “not good” that Gov. Palin represents the majority view, especially when she clearly believes in her stance, unlike perhaps Obama and Clinton? Again, a brilliant pick.

Does the great choice for Vice President scare you? Please be careful not to be a typical Democrat, and start going off without all the facts, or worse yet, lying, as Democrat politicians are wont to do. She believes what she believes, and she has every right to do so. And the best part, she has the guts to stand by her beliefs.

Last time I checked, don, guts and brains were very, very different things. And if you have to choose, its brains that you want.

Seriously!? What about Obama’s pro-death penalty, anti-gay marriage, pro-killing Afghan values? What about his support of partial-birth abortion? [“He opposed the ban on partial-birth abortion — a practice a fellow Democrat, the late Daniel Patrick Moynihan, once called “too close to infanticide.” Obama strongly criticized the Supreme Court decision upholding the partial-birth ban. In the Illinois state Senate, he opposed a bill similar to the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act, which prevents the killing of infants mistakenly left alive by abortion. And now Obama has oddly claimed that he would not want his daughters to be “punished with a baby” because of a crisis pregnancy — hardly a welcoming attitude toward new life.”, WP 4/2/2008]What about Biden’s pro-Patriot Act, pro-war agenda? What about him being against the first Persian Gulf War? — isn’t that absurd that he supported W.’s war?You don’t think his experience is flawed? At least Palin sticks to her values.Go Cynthia McKinney!!!

marc, better get used to saying President Obama. Because as soon as McCain said Palin, his ancient goose was cooked. Now he can die in peace. In retrospect, this should have been predictable. The only person who was opening campaigning for the slot was Romney, whom McCain hates. No one else wanted it — even though it would have meant a huge shortcut to the presidency once the Old Man kicks. And the reason they didn’t want it was because they couldn’t stand McCain. For a guy so many call “a good friend,” he sure doesn’t seem to have any right now. No one is out raising money for him. No one is campaigning for him. This is what happens when you yell and scream at everyone and generally act like you are 7, not 72, or 700 or however old he is.

Hitler also believed what he believed. So does Osama Bin Laden. Every nut-case believes what they believe…what does that prove? Anti-Gay,anti-abortion – sounds just like what we need. I suppose that Anne Coulter wasn’t free for the job. Palin is even second-best as a Fascist.

And, by the by, God forbid that the decrepit Mr. Mc Cain ever die in office. It would leave place for that hysterical, bird-brain, ex-beauty queen, gun toater à la Annie Oakley, second-rate, Fascist, newbie to take the reins of the most powerful country in the world. Just think that one over….God help us all!

As for drilling in Alaska, Madame Palin is absolutely right. There is sooo much money to be made – both over and under the table. Who could resist such a delicious temptation. It will guarantee SUV’s for all the ice-hockey Moms in Alaska for at least the next five years! They should start drilling right away, and Madame Palin’s back yard seems a good place to start…

Some people would support the devil if she was a Republican! They lie they twist and then they use an ad hominem attack. If that is what they do – here is one for them !Cindy McCain just goes to Burma and brings John back a child. Nicefor the child and must be a lovely souvenir for the McCains – but canany one just “pick up” a child and bring them home? Is it possiblefor the “uber-wealthy” to have one parent adopt without the knowledgeof the other parent?I ask because I have childless friends who have suffered all sorts ofred tape and governmental restrictions in trying to adopt a foreignborn child. Is this another case of “those that have seven homes can and thosethat work for a living are derned lucky to be employed?”

Yikes, yikes, yikes … so Palin becomes VP and then in four years America elects her to P cause McCain is too old… What year is it then? 1914? Here’s a take on moving on…

Get yer facts strait. Palin is by far a “newbie”. Mc Cains’ mother can tell you to yer face as she delivers you a beat down, that she may be ancient, but longevity runs in the family. My Grandfather tilled his own soil, chopped wood, fished, and hunted well into his 90s. I don’t see 72 years of age is a problem there. I have a solution for you. Try this. Remove your head from your anus. It may help you think clearly. Do just a little….a little research “because of the obvious capacity of your brain” and look at ” The Change” Obama is kinda promising. Change can also be bad. Do what y’all do best. Blame bush. Kinda funny the manure didn’t hit the fan until the dems got the majority.
