Several people have asked me recently about a Dan Kennedy who’s traveling the area and reading from his new book. It’s not me. It’s him. And, oh, there’s a third Dan Kennedy who writes books, too. I’m really glad I’m not him, but I wouldn’t mind having his money.
Alex Beam once wrote a pretty funny column in the Globe about the three of us, but it’s no longer freely available on the Web. So you’ll have to take my word for it.
Did I mention that you can buy my book? (Or you can read it for free if you’d like.)

The Beam article WAS funny.(And we’re all glad as well that you’re not him.) He seems like a real….(jerk). Having met many people like him in my work, money is very much overrated.
Although I wouldn’t mind being the first guy …
Funny you mention this. Amazon, noting that I bought YOUR book, suggested that I might like the other Dan Kennedy’s book. Apparently, they can’t tell you apart either!
Jenn: Thank you, thank you, thank you. I recently received a final status report from my publisher and learned there were even fewer people like you than I had realized.
Funny stuff. I know the feeling. Not that I’m a big-time author or anything, but I’ve been asked if I’m the same Jim Sullivan who writes on music. I tell them, no, I’m the one who writes on drugs.
