The assassination of Dr. George Tiller, I write in the Guardian, shows once again that abortion is the cultural divide that won’t go away. Which is why Bill O’Reilly’s taunting name-calling — “Tiller the baby killer” — and his comparisons of Tiller to Nazis and Al Qaeda terrorists was so mind-blowingly irresponsible.

I have come to the conclusion that all these loudmouth know-it-all talk show hosts (O’Reilly, Severin, etc )are motivated by two things and two things only, Money and their ego. The more you pay them, the more they will say anything to keep the show going and the sheep tuned in.
Jeff – so true – too much money yet morally bankrupt. They have a right to their thoughts, opinions and freedom of expression but certainly not to a point to excite ill feelings that result in any physical harm or threat. Other people are entitled to their beliefs without threat or actual harm or injury, aside from severe violence.
Jeff:I couldn't agree with you more.I used to be a huge fan of both Severin and O'Reilly. When both of them became outlandish, off they went from my radio dial and my bookmarks. Severin, because he thinks he's VOA with a Ted Nugent attitude, and O'Reilly with his constant pontification (although I do agree somewhat with his fight against NBC and GE and the bozos that run that operation – talk about smug!)Refering back to what Newshound said, once you get the cash, you become more and more lax and complacent so even if you say outlandish things, you get your fan base and you get paid. On the other hand, if you were paid less money, would you be more inclined to stick to your topic and entertain your listeners without beating your moral values over the audience's heads? If what O'Reilly said was true, then let O'Reilly fall on his own Talking Points. This will correct itself without any further encouragement.
