That is a nice read. Thanks for sharing.
Slow news day? What about some comments on the new administration regarding transparency?
It's not a terrorist fist bump when the president delivering the bump is responsible for killing more terrorists than all previous presidents, combined. What I find stunning about the Q & A session with Eric Draper is this question and (unless I'm missing something) the Globe's refusal to put it into context:Q. He [Bush] wasn't very popular in the African-American community. Did you get tired having to defend him?—Why on earth would the official photographer be expected to defend the president on race matters? Is Mr. Draper also skilled in race relations? Was he a defense attorney or community organizer before picking up the camera? Oh, I see (thanks to wikipedia) he's black himself. Has the Globe gone so overly PC that a subject's race can't be mentioned when discussing race? Jeesh.
That so? How many terrorists, praytell, did George Bush kill, exactly? The answer, of course, is zero. Now, how many Americans did he needlessly put into harm’s way? How many did he, through his actions, get killed, maimed or wounded?Put that in your deficit and smoke it.
If President Bush does it, that means it is not a terrorist fist bump….Sounds familiar!
