  1. She’s been a toady from the get-go. I’m guessing she’s gunning for a future Supreme Court nomination if/when Trump wins the election.

  2. Doesn’t this open the door for every Jan. 6 related conviction to be thrown out?

  3. This will be the norm if Trump wins again. She is completely incompetent and crooked. 11th Circuit will overrule, but then SCOTUS will favor Trump.

  4. When considering the events of the past week, and the events of this week to come, I have to keep repeating “I am not a conspiracy theorist” over and over.

This all seems so stage-managed – orchestrated to have Trump miraculously escape assassination just before being coronated at the convention, having his followers annointing him as a messiah.

But “I am not a conspiracy theorist”
“I am not a conspiracy theorist”
“I am not a conspiracy theorist”

  5. Nothing to be surprised about, Dan – about this decision or anything else the Trump GOP does. She slow-walked the case for months and Thomas showed her the way to scuttle it.

  6. If there was an actual basis for rejecting Smith’s appointment, Cannon could have done it last August when she was validating the case.
