I’m using up my free New York Times links pretty quickly, but I want to share this horrifying look at the state of the race. The likelihood of President Biden’s recovering and winning is nil — and that’s assuming he doesn’t have any more senior moments.

And we can count on the media (especially the NYT) downplaying Trump’s daily gaffes and outrages.
At the moment, we’re in the mode where the media is desperately trying to push Biden out of the race because they’re terrified of a Trump victory. But if Biden’s not going anywhere, then they need to pivot. I honestly think local TV news is a bigger problem than the elite media, because they’re very likely to focus on a Biden gaffe in their quick roundups of national news without ever moving on to Project 2025. And local TV newscasts are how most people stay informed.
