Greta Browne is a retired Unitarian Universalist minister who’s traveling the country in hopes of raising public awareness about global warming. By her own telling, the unconvinced remain unconvinced. And though she calls her journey a walk (OK, there is some walking involved), her actual mode of transportation is what she calls “a disgusting gas guzzler.”
I have some advice for Browne: Go home. And stay there.
Photo of Browne’s “gypsy wagon” is taken from her blog, For All the Grandchildren.

Hey Dan. Cut her some slack. At least she’s not Al Gore in his ozone melting Gulstream.
I agree that’s it’s not well thought out. She’ll be the laugh of the right-wing media, late-night talk shows, and other outlets if she continues to get media attention, which seems to be her goal in the first place. Why not get a hybrid or something? Did the thought occur to her? Oh well.
Sort of like buying a keg of beer for a party to honor temperance.
Somehow, I don’t think she sees the irony.
But hey, a cause is a cause.
Your comments ridicule and are mean spirited. They’re not the usual Dan Kennedy, even if you do make a valid point.
This is typical of the Gorebal warming crowd. Do as I say, not as I do.
And would the last person out of the Gore mansion please turn out the lights. After all, in 2006, Gore’s place devoured nearly 221,000 kWh. That’s more than 20 times the national average.
