  1. Let’s see. Two Jews were supposed to conduct a public talk. One, a Zionist, was disinvited, but the other Jew, an anti-Zionist, was not. While I don’t support censorship and regard this as a stupid move, the distinction Mr. Bonehead made was to ban a Zionist, not as a Jew. Otherwise he would have banned both speakers. This is not a case of antisemitism.

    1. Let’s see. Zionism is the philosophical belief that Jews should fight for self-determination bc no non-Jewish government would actually grant us full freedom. Developed in the 19th century, it does not specifically call for any particular borders, but here you are, claiming to not be a rancid antisemitic clown bc you don’t HATE JEWS, you just don’t think we deserve SELF-DETERMINATION. Great point, Bob Costa.

  2. Here’s the thing about antisemites. They are so stupid, they insist that words and history be redefined so that the antisemite doesn’t feel bad about being an antisemite. This bookstore manager is a great example. She canceled a planned discussion bc one of the Jews had been “outed” as a Zionist. As if Zionism is bad. Zionism simply is the movement for Jewish self-detrermination. And yet folks who gladly consider themselves anti-Jewish self-determination don’t also want to be known as Jew haters. Well, if you are actively stopping us Jews from pursuing our self-determination, i.e. you have become an obstacle to our freedom, then I’m sorry to break it to you, that means YOU HATE US.

Oh, is my intepretation mean to the people who excommunicate Jews with self-determination from a bookstore for being Jews proud of their self-determination? In other words, ARE WE TOO JEWY FOR YOU? If so, then congrats, YOU ARE AN ANTISEMITE, BOB.

How about all us smart people stop taking words out of context to pummel a minority over their head until they all, presumably, go away? Can we grow up now, Bob, and maybe learn what these words mean? Or better yet, maybe we can actually criticize those who are bigots in our midst rather than make excuses for them
