Facebook cuts access to data that was being used to embarrass the company

Facebook cuts reseachers’ access to data, claiming privacy violations. It seems more likely, though, that the Zuckerborg was tired of being embarrassed by the stories that were developed from that data. Mathew Ingram of the Columbia Journalism Review explains.

    Definitely read the CJR post for details. How do you know Robo-Zuck and his merry minions are lying? Whenever they speak, actually. People my age know this follows Nixon’s Law.

    BTW, most social science researchers play with Twitter data because Twitter is more cooperative. It skews social media research.
