CJR profiles the Phoenix’s iron man of Occupy

The Boston Phoenix’s Chris Faraone, whose iron-man coverage of the Occupy movement has been an inspiration, is the subject of a terrific profile in the Columbia Journalism Review. Faraone plans to publish a book on the movement next month called “99 Nights with the 99 Percent.”

    It makes me uncomfortable that the whole time he was covering the Occupy movement for his employer he was simultaneously working on a book about himself and the movement. That had to have some influence on the way he did his “day job” and I think it ultimately resulted in less than objective coverage.
