One from the heart

[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1mQS3zxPF4?rel=0&w=480&h=390]I’m not an Ed Schultz fan. And of course MSNBC did the right thing by suspending Schultz for a week for calling Laura Ingraham a “right-wing slut” and a “talk slut” on his radio show. But give him this: I can’t remember the last time I saw an apology as abject and sincere as Schultz’s. I hope we see a better Ed when he returns.

Ingraham accepts Schultz’s apology.

How many times does Schultz have to apologize for his petty outbursts before his employers understand that he’s not about to change?

Or is it that Schultz’s intemperate remarks are policy for MSNBC?

    Hey Dan —

Has Laura yet apologized to the families of Jean Donovan, Maura Clarke, Ita Ford, and Dorothy Kazel for telling the NYT that, when she went to El Salvador, she stayed “at the Four Dead Nuns Inn”?

Some people forfeit the right to be treated with civility.

@charles: I’d like to think that we liberals have higher standards. And Schultz’s apology shows that we do.

Calling those that do not adhere to the Obama plan traitors, Dan, shows that you liberals have no standards at all.

Same with suggesting that those with opinions different then Obama are somehow racists.
