Coming clean on what exactly?

Scott Allen Miller demands that Gov. Deval Patrick do the right thing in handling a scandal that he can’t tell us about but that he insists is about to break. I’m not making this up. The headline is “Echoes of Cellucci?” Hmmm … the ponies? Credit-card debt? Bad Robert De Niro impersonations?

Now, don’t get me wrong. It might be true. But sometimes you should just leave the meatloaf in the oven until the dinger goes off.

Update: Scotto confirms my suspicion that he was referring to this. Good grief. Wake me when it’s over.

Whether there’s a scandal or not, this shows just how easily Deval’s supporters could potentially be spooked.Because he ran such a vague campaign and has so far governed in a rather strange manner, his support is a mile wide and an inch deep. How much longer will the honeymoon last?

Hey Dan, seems that posting comments has fallen a tad into a black hole. Software problem?RE: Scotto’s leak; think we all have the gut feeling that the nonsensical amount of mortgage debt held by Gov. Patrick and some of the discrepancies in how the various mortgages were handled (going back to last summer, do you think it a little odd that a bank would “overlook” registering a 7 figure second mortgage – bankers have been fired for far less than that) is what is being alluded to here. And it is a concern, even if his wife is a partner @ R&G to add to his new governor’s salary. Best case I figure is that on an interest only basis, they’re looking at close to $400,000 a year in nondeductible interest. The real rich (i.e., those who actually spend over 5 million on summer homes) pay cash…

The scandal is that Deval is really a crab person. 😉

Does this sound like a last chance effort for Scotto to make himself relevant?

This type of purely speculative nonsense is just as unfair to Governor Patrick as it was to the “about to be indicted” Karl Rove and Vice President Dick Cheney, during the phony Plame scandal. Shame on you Scotto, for salivating in the same manner as so many in the “main stream” media did, before the Plame scandal proved to be no scandal at all.

hard to say which post is sillier – scotty’s blind post, or dan’s post about scotty’s blind post. oh wait. this post is sillier. sorry. -Syl E. Mann

Scott Miller thinks this situation is like Ken Lay at Enron? He must think his own removal from hosting at WRKO is the equivalent of Drew Bledsoe being benched for Tom Brady.I’d be a hell of a lot more suspicious if the Patrick campaign hadn’t also returned unused state money because, you know, liberals live to steal money from the state.

Dan, you really need to take a break from Scott Allen Miller and Howie Carr, and any other nut bags you’re following.

I was doing my daily blog roll and I got to BostonRadioWatch before MediaNation…but I’d already read Dan’s post about an impending scandal last night. So I honestly though that BRW’s report of Deval’s new radio show on WTKK was the “scandal”. Made me chuckle quite a bit, even after I learned what the “scandal” really was. And yeah, Scotto, yer grasping at straws, man.
